Making Taste 4 goes deep into our list of works that have escaped the confinement of our curatorial ideas but have stood out overtime. The videos in the program vary in content and create a spattering of works that defy our desire to shuffle them into a certain context. More details coming soon!

This documentary was released as little snippets during 2020 to make people laugh whilst this Coronavirus is going on. We really hope that soon we can extend our concept of human kindness to our little animal friends.
Kitty Ninon Anais Faingold "Hell Hath No Furie" (UK)
It's the early nineties and after a millennial slumber three classical Ancient Furies are resurrected and re-imagined living in a flat somewhere within the Bowels of Hell. In the guise of modern women, Allecto (or ‘Unceasing in Anger’), Tisiphone (the ‘Vengeful One’) and Megaera (the ‘Green Eyed Monster’) find themselves sullenly sitting around a table, drinking wine, smoking cigarettes and playing cards. Unsurprisingly, the evening will devolve into all out fiery war as three age-old tempers are steadily reaching boiling point.

After breaking up with my ex-boyfriend, I was heartbroken but I had to think about the theme for my next animation film. Just then I had a dream of this ex-boyfriend. This animation film is based on that dream.
In Japan, on 11th March 2011, we had great earthquakes, and aftershocks followed over and over. And not only earthquakes but also how to face nuclear power is one of the hottest issues in our country. I think that dream is the mixture of this charged atmosphere of Japan and my heartbreaking depression. So I "re-mixed" what I had in my head.
By the way, he used to like enemas. So in this song, the word of "ass" and its related words are fluttering. All of these are linked to the memories of him so I decided to use this song. In that dream, the face of my ex-boyfriend was not clear, so in this animation, his face is drawn just like "ass".
